Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing State and Federal income tax returns, performing tax research, and assisting with various attestation engagements.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review State and Federal income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
Conduct tax research and provide well-documented conclusions.
Participate in attestation and assurance engagements as assigned.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
Manage workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax software (preferred).
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software (preferred).
Strong computer and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks efficiently.

Level: This position is open to Senior Tax Accountants, Tax Supervisors and Tax Managers, depending on experience and demonstrated competencies.
BA/BS in Accounting required.
CPA designation preferred (or in progress).
7-10 years of experience preparing tax returns and related filings.
