Job Duties (Included but not limited to):
Oversee all financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
Supervise accounting functions: A/P, A/R, payroll, and tax compliance.
Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Ensure internal controls and compliance with GAAP and audit standards.
Liaise with Finance Committee, Vestry, and senior leadership.
Analyze financial data and recommend performance improvements.
Maintain financial procedures and assist with insurance program evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s/CPA preferred), strong financial management and reporting experience, knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ACS. Must demonstrate sound decision-making, analytical skills, and a commitment to the mission of SJD and the Episcopal Church.
