The Business Administrator serves to support the key financial officer for all of University Housing at UT Dallas. This position provides support for all budgeting, accounting, financial and managerial reporting, internal auditing, pricing & costing procurement, and revenue enhancement within University Housing. In addition, the focus of this position includes all activities related to human resources & payroll and staff training. The position assists in performing research for long range financial planning models in support of departmental master planning and other strategic efforts. This position serves as a member of the Business Services team, is a critical resource for departmental strategic planning and the liaison in matters pertaining to business process, finance and human resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; and
Three to five years of experience performing administrative duties with two of these years in a position with unit-wide scope; and
One to three years of supervisory experience; and
One to three years administrative experience in higher education.
An equivalent level of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, residential or hospitality management, public administration or a closely-related field
3 years of progressively responsible experience in business administration, residential/hospitality management, information management, marketing, budget planning, and finance
CPA
Microsoft Excel proficiency in Pivot Tables and Vlookup.
