This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.
We are seeking individuals with a desire to pursue innovative research programs that can be leveraged to enhance managerial practice, as well as undergraduate and graduate education. Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of success or strong potential for research publications and excellence in teaching. It is desirable that the candidate have an interest in technology areas such as: cybersecurity, database management, analytics, blockchain, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Candidates for the position should possess a Ph.D. in Business Information Systems or a related field. Candidates who are ABD must obtain their Ph.D. prior to appointment. The teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates who apply before October 1st.
Department Details:
The Information Systems & Supply Chain Management (INSC) Department at Neeley includes a vibrant mix of scholars who also embrace teaching and student interaction. We offer undergraduate majors in Business Information Systems and in Supply & Value Chain Management. The Neeley School also offers as well as graduate programs in Analytics and Supply Chain Management. In addition, we offer an undergraduate certificate in FinTech and deliver several courses in Statistics and Business Analytics for other programs in the Neeley School. The INSC Department promotes research collaborations with the many Fortune 500 companies in the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area.
School/College Description:
The TCU Neeley School of Business is comprised of six academic departments including Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Management and Leadership, Marketing, and Finance. The TCU Neeley School of Business has an annual enrollment of 3,248 (2021-2022) undergraduate and graduate students, 215 employees and 24,595 alumni. The Neeley School is proud to be fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for our undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, our Accounting department is among an elite number (less than 200) accredited by AACSB.
TCU Neeley has been nationally ranked in several outlets, including 19th by Poets and Quants in their recent rankings of Best Undergraduate Business Programs. Careers and Employment Opportunities was ranked at #10 in the U.S. and #1 in Texas by Poets & Quants. TCU Neeley was ranked 15th in undergraduate Entrepreneurial Studies in 2020 according to The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. The MBA program has been ranked 45th in the U.S. by The Economist, and 1st for MBA Faculty Quality. The undergraduate supply chain program was ranked 14th in North America and the graduate supply chain program was ranked 16th in North America by Gartner. The Executive MBA program was ranked 13th in the world, 8th in the U.S. and 1st in Texas by The Economist. TCU’s accounting graduates regularly achieve the #1 CPA exam pass rate in Texas. The accounting program was ranked 20th in the U.S. for undergraduate programs and 21st among graduate programs of its size by the Public Accounting Report.
