United Surgical Partners International, Inc. specializes in the operation of ambulatory surgery centers and related businesses in the United States and is currently seeking a Manager - Corporate Accounting to work in the corporate office located in Dallas, Texas. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and has the following duties and responsibilities:
Accounting for acquisitions of surgery centers and hospitals
Accounting for equity transactions
Works closely with other departments in the Company for acquisitions, denovos, and equity transactions
Responsible for accounting, preparation, and review of monthly financials for multiple Real Estate entities
Assist with corporate close process, budgeting, and financial statement preparation and review.
Manage ownership and management fee stats for over 400 facilities
Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual audit schedules
Assist with ad hoc projects that support the team
This position will be responsible for managing one staff accountant & review of staff accountant monthly close entries
Qualifications:
5+ Years of relevant accounting experience
Must have strong communication (oral and written) and relationship building skills
Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
Has the capacity to work within tight deadlines
Experience in consolidation/multi-entity accounting
Experience in Intercompany Transactions
Technical knowledge of Business Combinations (ASC 805) and Accounting for Noncontrolling Interest (ASC 810)
Public Accounting Experience
Proficient in Excel
Oracle GL experience a plus (but not required)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA license
