Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company procedures
• Compile and analyze monthly financial reports on a timely basis, report KPI findings
• Oversight of all accounting department staff and contract administrators
• Manage and maintain the accuracy of financial systems, to include AR/AP, General Ledger, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, Payroll, WIP Schedules, Insurance Reserves, Cash Management, Billing & Payment Application processes
• Program administration: Viewpoint, Concur Expense & Invoice, Textura, Spreadsheet Server
• Review and analyze project budgets, commitments, cost, and projections to ensure financial accuracy and variance analysis
• Annual Budgeting, Monthly forecasting, and analysis of project revenue, internal allocations, and overhead
• Assistance in search and design of potential new systems and reporting tools
• Partner with and advise project teams and Department/Regional Leads
• Assist with timely trade partner prequalification while monitoring risk
• Work directly with External Auditors and Tax Advisors

Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred
• Highly skilled in Excel with competencies in Pivot Tables, V-look ups, and other key functions of excel
• Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills
