Job Overview:
The Accountant primary responsibility is maintaining accurate & timely company financial transactions, including A/P, A/R, inventory management, and maintaining company document organization. Position will also include vendor management, live answering of phones, scheduling, editing & preparation of documents.
Successful candidate will have professional demeanor, experience working with senior decision makers, extreme attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work both independently and within a team, an analytical background, strong understanding of business processes, knowledge of how to document, and keen ability to hear assignments and extrapolate improvements to basic guidance. Candidate must have acute ability to use computer & learn new applications.
Company hours are 8-5, M-F, with monthly after-hours continuous professional education (CPE) and occasional after-hours events. Each team member commits to a 42-hour work week, with 4 hours dedicated to CPE, as determined each quarter.

Role Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial & account records
A/P, A/R, Inventory Management
Compile data, documentation, & financial reports
Execute sales or other financial transactions
Prepare documentation for contracts, transactions, or regulatory compliance
Calculate costs of goods or services
Manage office vendors
Document preparation & editing
Stay within departmental budget constraints
Maintain documentation for departmental policies
Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting schedules with team members
Complete special projects or other tasks as needed
