OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE:
Makes recommendations using accounting expertise in order to improve and support customer activities and accounting processes. Responsible for providing analysis of business processes and system functionality evaluations directly to customer.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Utilizes accounting principles to develop, recommend, and test scenarios alongside the customer's (Lottery) accounting department for new game launches, existing game modifications, and software changes.
* Contributes to service batches, system delivery projects, and support of initiatives at the request of the customer and internal departments by ensuring accounting and financial integrity.
* Projects include gathering business requirements, supporting customer with User Acceptance Testing, and providing post live support.
* Makes recommendations and changes in order to improve and support customer business activities and processes.
* Assist management with the planning and design of short and long term customer opportunities. These opportunities will be focused in the area of the customer's financial systems and processes.
* Collects data to assist and support cross-functional teams with incident identification, resolution, and root cause analysis to resolve problems.
* Provides status reporting and tracking of customer related incidents, problems, and projects.
* Support the Business Operations Manager with internal reporting (metrics and scorecards), invoicing activities, performing lottery gaming activities, continuous monitoring of auditable business requirements, and the gathering of requested audit data.

EDUCATION:
* Bachelors in Accounting or related field
* CPA a plus (not required)
* 5+ years experience in accounting, audit, and/or in business at a technology company to include:
o Accounting or Finance
o Business Analysis (interpret business requirements and relay to technology team)
