Our ITAS team works with our clients to make a more risk-aware, effective IT organization that can deliver transformational business change and meet regulatory compliance requirements. Our IT Advisory Services include Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance Monitoring, SSAE 18 (SOC 1, 2 & 3) Reporting, PCI DSS Assessments, IT Internal Audits, external audit support over IT, and cybersecurity assessments. Weaver’s ITAS team is a high-performing, dynamic team with great growth and results. An ITAS Senior is primarily responsible for execution of various engagement objections, and the ITAS Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution of engagement objectives while supervising teams of staff members on multiple concurrent engagements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT general controls including security administration, program change management, program development and computer operations, and should develop a firm understanding of the interaction of systems and financial processes. The candidate should understand how to evaluate Active Directory, SQL Server Database, Oracle, Windows, Unix at a minimum, and at least one ERP system (JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Education and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Management/Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
CISA or CISSP (candidate or certified), CPA or CIA are also beneficial; certification required for Manager level opportunities
Greater than basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and the role that IT plays in compliance, SOX experience with larger organizations/multiple entities a plus
Basic familiarity with GAAP, IIA standards, COBIT, COSO and related standards
Knowledge of IT controls and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls
Greater than basic understanding of IT departments, applications, system infrastructure, network layer, and security
