McKesson is seeking a Sr. Manager of Generics FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis responsibilities for the buy-side generics business. The Sr. Manager will lead month-end close and forecast activities, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and advanced analytics at a product and manufacturer level. The Sr. Manager will partner with the London Based Generics Sourcing entities and senior leadership throughout the organization. The Sr. Manager is a trusted business partner to the generic drugs leadership team who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making.
Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results
Development of the annual budget and long-term plan
Advanced analytics on industry events such as industry consolidation, generic price inflation, and regulatory policies/environment
Manage new generics launch pipeline and financial modeling of generic launches
Lead, develop and influence business partners who this person may not directly manage
Ensure financial integrity of generics FP&A analytics environment
Perform ad hoc analysis to support the business and other duties as required
6+ years of financial, analytics or accounting experience and demonstrated leadership skills
Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills
Effective business partnership with the ability to influence decision makers
Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion
Knowledge of accounting principles
Thorough knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Additional Knowledge & Skills
SAP, BW COPA, or AO
People management experience preferred, but not required
4 year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience
General Office Demands
Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position
This role is based in the Irving, TX office, **remote** only until we go back to the office
